I came into this work the long way. Power Vinyasa teacher, prenatal training, my own birth story that nobody really witnessed the way I needed. After Khyra was born I was home for 7 days before we ended up in a the hospital for 14, ten of those with her in the NICU.

That's where this started. Not the certifications, or the credentials. The moment I realized I could be the person that I never had.

Closing of the Bones
A traditional postpartum closing ritual rooted in African + Moroccan mid-wifery practice. Used to close the energetic + physical body after birth. Available as an add-on for any postpartum package or as a standalone offering.

Being a doula is one of the most rewarding roles I have ever had the honor of experiencing. I have served over 100 families in my time here in Charlotte NC. I am a DONA International Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula specializing in energy healing, herbalism, and yoga. I have completed 200-RYT hour training in Vinyasa Flow, 24-hr Advance Prenatal yoga teacher training with a focus on women of color through Black Orchid, and 85-hr prenatal teacher training through Awakened Spirit Yoga. I am inspired by the healing power of plants + herbs and have been formally trained herbalism for both prenatal support as well postpartum support. I support births at both Atrium and Novant Health Hospitals in Charlotte NC. I will travel within 50 miles of my home in Charlotte, NC as a birth doula. I am both a Novant verified and credentialed doula. You can contact and hire me as your birth doula at any point in your pregnancy to support you in birth and childbirth as a doula.
